Next Sunday's ride will be to Greenwich as advertised, following a quite different route (mostly) than Wednesday's Wayfarers ride. The route there will visit several parks, some interesting sights and with luck some great views. Lunch at The Gate Clock (Wetherspoons), Greenwich after 17 miles and about 600 ft of climbing. After lunch a pretty flat ride back to tea near Waterloo, some more sights and only about 7 miles. If there is demand I'll lead a ride back to Putney and Richmond Park (~11 miles) after tea.
We are meeting in a place called Morden, a name that will be familiar but the location may not be. The
Morden Cafe, Morden is 100yds from the entrance to Morden Hall Park, and maybe 200yds from Morden tube station. We'll leave there at 11am. If you want to ride there with me from Kingston, get in touch before Sunday.
