Emergency repairs to the bridge over the Tillingborne has closed the eastern section of the road for several weeks. So if you're bound for say Chilworth or Farley Green, you'll need to ride through Shere and turn right just before the railway bridge.
In addition between Shere and Silent Pool there are extensive roadworks on the A25.

It looks like White Down Lane is closed at the moment though surely nothing to do with the Tillingbourne Bridge work.
